| Lotus Design offers a comprehensive landscape architectural service. From an initial on-site landscape design & horticultural consultation to discuss your outdoor needs and dreams, to developing concept drawings according to an analysis of sun/shade /wind patterns, planting themes, utility areas, drainage, irrigation and long term maintenance requirements. From these concept drawings a master landscape plan is developed, and presented to you as a laminated colour A1 drawing, complete with hard-scape specifications, and planting plan with schedule. |

| At this stage, your drawings are suitable as tender documents to seek ´apples for apples´ quotes, from landscape contractors of your choice. For DIY installations, our landscape design service is complimented by a service sourcing your plant and landscape material requirements. |

A number of rough sketches are drawn during an on-site meeting, noting landscape design suggestions, and horticultural recommendations, such as general spatial arrangement, recommended plant species &/or materials to be introduced or removed, suppliers, any relevant council implications and sequence of works.
Having photocopies of your property Site Plan, including boundaries, building ‘footprint’ with windows and doors detailed, and North point, (as supplied by your builder / architect / previous owners), available at your initial consultation, will maximise the service provided by Lotus Design. |

| CONCEPT DESIGN |
|
| Subsequent to the on-site consultation, a site measure is conducted, followed by the preparation of a computer generated base plan. Hand drawn ´sketch´ plans are then developed showing indicative finishes, proposed heights and planting. Presented to scale, with hand colour rendering. |

| Structural landscape detail drawings, (as required), for DIY landscapers, or as tender documents for landscape contractors. May include materials and construction specifications, plans, sections, and elevations. |
